Class III

So I had planned to pass off two PE's and take a full mouth on top of the OD today. I was so happy that me pt. showed up. This was the first pt. I've had that was Spanish speaking so it was very different. I plan on pulling up that translation site next time he comes in, especially so I can get OHI across.
Whoohooo! I found my Class III pt. today :) It was so amazing to see the probe sink down into the pockets (he had one 10 mm pocket!). I spent more time than usual probing because I really wanted to get them right. There were a few measurements that I was more than 1 mm off but I felt pretty good about it. I also need to be more thorough with recession...But he was very nice and Instructor Vining interpreted :) I passed off two PE's as well so I'm excited about that. He will defintiely need anesthesia so that will be nice for a second yr. I'm so happy right now and I hope I can get everything off!
I'm still worried about finishing all my requirements in time. I might need to use an extra clinic day but I'm hoping to accomplish a lot with the screening appts on Friday!
