Purple IS my favorite color

But I like it a whole lot more when it's not all over my ankle :s Super Bowl Sunday we were at my in-laws watching the game. I was in the basement playing with my nephew Jett and he asked me to go down the slide with him. They got a bigger slide for Christmas so I thought this one would be ok for me to go down. But as soon as I got on the steps, I could tell this was a bad idea. I already had one leg on the slide but had to abort. Jett was behind me so going back down wasn't an option. So I put my other leg off to the side to hop off but wasn't very graceful. The drop was higher than I thought and so my foot slipped and my ankle rolled in. I heard a snap and went down. Cristel was right there and called for help. Next thing I know, my knight in shining armor comes down and starts evaluating my ankle. Thankfully it wasn't broken but it swelled up to the size of a baseball pretty quick. So Dustin helped me upstairs, iced it, elevated it, drugged me and even got me some dessert later on :) The next day my foot continued to swell up my calf and turned a pretty deep purple. It's been a bit sore and I had an awesome limp the first few days. When Dustin first looked at it, he saw some purple spots and commened on how quickly it had bruised. Sadly, those were from previous klutzy moments like running into the open oven door and the bottom of a shopping cart. Oh and the rest of the night Jett kept saying he had broken his arm or his leg like Aunt Nicole, so cute!
