So I was really nervous today. I think I need to try faking confidence until I have some so that I don't worry my patients. Chelsea said I did well and didn't hurt her. I felt better once I got going but felt kind of lost when it came to my OD check and finding calculus to scale. I think it will be easier with real patients because they will have areas to scale. Also, I felt ok with the charting process and am grateful for the case study we had this semester.
Overall, I think it went well. Not as bad as I thought but I can't believe I'll be doing it all next semester. I need to increase my confidence and work faster next semester. I have my patient scheduled for next week. I'll pass off both of my PE's left next week.
