sealants :D

So I placed sealants clear back in high school and was so scared to find out that I'd done them wrong or something. The procedure was different than I remembered but luckily Lindy commented that there was a different method that I had learned first, which sounds easier in all honesty. Anyway, so I didn't want to start the process; I was so worried about doing it wrong. Lis helped me through it and it went really well. Lindy had 3 for me to seal and now I'm wishing I would have left just one to pass off the PE with but I was so relieved to get one done so I decided to leave the last 2 for the PE.
I passed off 3 PE's today! It wasn't bad at all and it's kind of necessary what with mock patient days and real patient day. I'll pass off 2 next time and leave the rest for the Monday before our patients. I will need to ask my friend to be my patient on the 28th which makes me nervous but she's really sweet so it should be ok. I don't feel ready to identify and scale off calculus in all honesty but this is all a learning process and I'm sure it will be ok. Plenty of people have made it through the program somehow...
