Grandma's are the best!

Today my goals were to finish the entire appointment and get the same probe depths as the instructor.
I brought my grandma into today. I hoping for maybe a Class II but she goes to her hygienist regularly so I wasn't too hopeful. Anyway, I actually got the same readings on probing today. I was so excited and so relieved that it is coming together :) I moved pretty quickly and it looked like I was going to finish her in time. But then I decided to take some BWX since it had been a year since her last x-rays. We also took a pano because we thought there might be some unerupted 3rd molars. I was thankful to get some of those requirements out of the way, especially since she is such a compliant patient ;) But she looks to be an easy cleaing once I get to that point. I have to ask if I can do a Class V pt. as an exam though...It's really been nice to see family for patients, it makes everythings seem more real and they are very encouraging. Things are going to continue to get better and I'm so excited!! I will continue to push for quicker times and perhaps I can fit two 1B cleanings into one appt. That would be great!
