So my goal today was to move quickly, identify calculus, and remove all the calculus the first time.
I think I did pretty well! I did miss a few spots on my scale check but I went back and felt them and was able to remove most of them. I was evaluating myself to make sure I was using the right technique to remove the calculus. I think I need to just develop my muscles more so that I can get it on the first stroke and therefore decrease my time. I actually used my explorer this time to evaluate my work and see if I left anything behind. It was really helpful :) I was also able to pass off a PE. My plan is to pass one off at every clinic session. I met with Costley yesterday and I feel less stressed and frustrated which is good.
It was touch and go there for a bit but I think I'm just trusting myself and absorbing/applying the information I learned. It is so nice!!! I did take a while to remove the calculus so that is my concern now.
2 years down, eternity to go!

Hi, I was student 2 years ago. I know exactly how you felt after leaving Costley's office. I also know you can do it. You are in the best program in the state and they will not fail you! good luck with you PEs--they are the funnest times of your life. No actually working is since you dont have to do them ever again! Good Luck
Awesome! I am glad that you are feeling better about things!!
