Even though I read the information for instrument identification, I still felt a little lost at times when we filled out our charts. But it makes more sense when I apply it to the mouth. But I was able to pass off one PE. It was really nice working on someone from a totally different pod so I had never seen their mouth. Chelsea built up my confidence in my exploring, at least that I wasn't hurting her.
So, I still didn't get a chance to practice on myself but I really need to! I also need to be bold enough to be the operator so that I have enough time to do an entire exploration! Otherwise I don't do trial and error til I get it right. But I will read the info, get ready for another PE, and strive to push myself to do it right and all the way through so I can have it down when I have a patient.
